Qatar Airways


Qatar Airways Company Q.C.S.C. is the flag carrier airline of Qatar, based in Doha. It operates a hub and spoke network, linking over 80 international destinations. It is among the only six airlines awarded 5-star rating by Skytrax along with Kingfisher Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Asiana Airlines, Malaysia Airlines and Singapore Airlines. All classes onboard Qatar Airways aircraft (except A300/319/320/321) have video screens at every seat. Live digital satellite television can be accessed on the A330 and A340 aircraft, offering a range of European and Arabic channels. All long-haul fleet aircraft are equipped with in-demand IFE systems featuring the latest movies, TV programmes, music, games, interactive maps, and a personal telephone. Qatar Airways plans to introduce new flat-bed seats in business class in its upcoming Boeing 777-200LR aircraft. The new beds will be introduced throughout the fleet with time. The inflight lounges on board the A340-600's are due to be dismantled in order to increase seat capacity.

Asiana Airlines


Asiana Airlines (formerly Seoul Airlines) is an airline based in Seoul, South Korea and is one of South Korea's two major airlines, along with Korean Air. Asiana is a member of the Star Alliance and operates services to 12 domestic destinations and 73 international destinations in 17 countries worldwide. Asiana's headquarters and overseas hub is located at Incheon International Airport (near Seoul) and its domestic hub is at Gimpo International Airport.

Mexicana de Aviación


Mexicana, was the first airline established in Mexico. Today, in addition to domestic services, it is the country's largest international airline, operating services to North America, Central America, the Caribbean, South America and Europe. Its principal hub is Mexico City International Airport, with secondary hubs at Cancún International Airport and Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla International Airport, Guadalajara. Mexicana's main competitor is Aeroméxico, although the two companies "code-share" on several routes and were merged for more than a decade. It is the world's fourth oldest airline operating under the same name, after the Netherlands' KLM, Colombian's Avianca and Australia's Qantas.

Turkish Airlines


Turkish Airlines, Inc. is the national airline of Turkey based in İstanbul. It operates a network of scheduled services to 123 international and 32 domestic cities, serving a total of 155 airports, in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the United States. The airline's main base is Atatürk International Airport (IST), İstanbul, with secondary hubs at Esenboga International Airport (ESB), Ankara, and Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SAW), İstanbul. SilkAir


SilkAir (Singapore) Private Limited is an airline based in Singapore. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore Airlines and operates scheduled passenger services from Singapore to 26 cities in Southeast Asia, South Asia and China. As the regional wing of Singapore Airlines, it serves 29 out of 50 short-haul destinations in the Singapore Airlines Group network, and flew 1.56 million passengers in 2006. It made a profit of S$30 million, as turnover rose 20.4% to $415 million.

Aeroflot


"Aeroflot — Russian Airlines" , or Aeroflot as the airline is commonly known, is the de facto national airline of Russia. The largest airline in Russia, based on passengers carried per year, Aeroflot is one of the oldest airlines in the world, tracing its history back to 1923. Based at Sheremetyevo International Airport near Moscow, the airline operates domestic and international passenger services to 96 cities in 49 countries. During the Soviet era, Aeroflot was the Soviet national airline and the largest airline in the world. Since the dissolution of the USSR, Aeroflot has been transformed from a state-owned bureaucracy into a semi-privatised airline which ranks amongst the most profitable in the world. Aeroflot has embarked on a fleet modernisation program, extensive route restructuring, and an image overhaul, in order to bring the airline up to world standards. The airline joined SkyTeam in April 2006.

Russian Sky Airlines


Russian Sky Airlines is an airline based in Moscow, Russia. It operates scheduled and charter cargo services to Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. It also operates passenger services and VIP transport. Its main base is Domodedovo International Airport, Moscow . The airline was established on November 27, 1995 as East Line Air, that later on February 8, 1996 was granted Certificate No 61 by the civil aviation authorities of Russia. This Certificate had entitled the airline to operate all types of domestic civil aircraft. From January 3, 1996, East Line Air became a member of IATA. In 1997 the airline was renamed East Line Airlines, and a new Operator’s Certificate, retaining the same number, was approved on 4 September 1997, and subsequently renewed in compliance with the Federal Aviation Authorities regulations. East Line Airlines was a part of East Line group, which owns Domodedovo airport. They also were one of the leading cargo carriers in Russia.
